Format
Two 6-day live modules, typically delivered over 9–12 months.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the Beginner and Intermediate level.
The Advanced training is for practitioners ready to meet the most layered presentations — long-standing complex trauma, syndromic dysregulation, and the highly sensitive client. You will deepen your touch skills, refine titration and pendulation, and gain new clinical tools rooted in Polyvagal Theory and the SE model of syndromes.
You will learn to
- Learn the importance of stabilization when working with complex trauma
- Explore the SE concept of 'coherence' in working with complex trauma
- Refine touch skills for supporting containment and coherence
- Develop a deeper understanding of Polyvagal Theory and the SE model of syndromes
- Refine the SE skills of titration and pendulation with highly sensitive clients
- Learn the SE model for working with the eyes
- Develop SE touch-based skills for working with different categories of trauma
- Use joints, body diaphragms, and the viscera to access ANS responses
- Explore scope-of-practice issues for integrating SE and SE touch professionally
