Level 02 — Intermediate

Working with categories of trauma.

Learn the primary characteristics of each category of trauma, with specific approaches and interventions for each.

Format

Three 6-day live modules, typically delivered over 12–18 months.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of the Beginner level.

Building on the Beginner level, the Intermediate training takes you deeply into the distinct shapes trauma takes in the body. You'll work systematically through each category — from pre- and peri-natal activation to natural disasters and ongoing emotional injury — refining your clinical eye and your hands-on skill.

You will learn to

  • Global High Intensity Activation (GHIA): pre- and peri-natal trauma, early trauma, anesthesia, suffocation, choking, drowning
  • High Impact / Failure of Physical Defense: falls, traumatic brain injury, motor vehicle accidents
  • Inescapable Attack: assault, animal attack, rape or sexual abuse, inhibited escape
  • Physical Injury: surgery, poison, burns, accident-related injury
  • Natural and Man-Made Disasters, Horror: earthquakes, war, terrorism, torture, witnessing harm
  • Emotional Trauma: severe neglect, severe loss, ongoing abuse
